Never done rear discs b4...now I know..tricky little set up actually! The rear cables run straight up to the central handbrake tongue on the LH ...perfect!

Weren't you going with a Toploader ?
If so I'd use the Ford slave cylinder and rig up a 5/8" or 3/4" (depending on pedal ratios) trailer type generic master cylinder under the dash.
That way its not sitting on a stupid angle on the firewall and the hydraulic ratios are better matched

Unless your springing for a pedalbox

whats the pedal box cost datto, i need a similar set up as i cant fit brake cyliders on my fire wall, not enough space with the nissan v8

hey guys, about the floor mount pedal again, i looked at some Tilton floor mounts at Earls today and noticed the pedals are fairly verticle, i was talking to a guy at Rare spares who was looking at the same set up and said the same thing that the pedals a fairly verticle and that the seating position should be lowered to use this set up, have you guys used the floor mount set up with normal seating height (not sports/low seating height) and was it ok to use??

Certain classes of racing allow floor mounting of pedals, but IPRA donot (btw) so if you intend to buy and fit for a street/race set up.. check the rules first.

the only rules i can see, mainly concerns the ABS brakes in late model cars.

The hand brake cables are all but seized so I will hang them with a balloon of WD40 tomorrow to see if I can free them...at $90 each it is a better solution!

Done the left side..not as hard as I thought. I checked out the roof lining and seems pretty simple so I will have a go at that as well. Found a bit of rust under the r/r door seal but decided I can bog it up OK..All is go at the moment. :spoton:
