Really funny thing with this one..having done it b4 and gone throught all the heartache and trials and tribulations...I am actually enjoying watching it come together..sort of like a new father..when you find a problem...you just fix it or get over it...I am enjoying it as much as you guys are..NOS..on the other hand...I am sure...is shitting bricks! :fool:

Sorry for not replying earlier...

Certain classes of racing allow floor mounting of pedals, but IPRA donot (btw) so if you intend to buy and fit for a street/race set up.. check the rules first.

the only rules i can see, mainly concerns the ABS brakes in late model cars.

For "IPRA" CAMS Manual page 7-86, Para 13.2 Controls....
All driving...bla bla
....Pedals and pedal boxes are free, but the radial location of the of the (not my typo theirs) pedal axes must remain within 75mm of the original.

OK after a few hours of working in the heat-gotta love the sunny weather in qld-Sorry Glenn/ultrablue-the car is stripped to the bone, some minor rust around the front and rear screens thats about it-it'll be repaired tonight by my welding mate, tommorow both me and my cousin will be sanding the shell down for undercoat, engine bay/radiator support will be painted tommorow, and most of the shell should be ready to undercoat by the end of tommorow and go to get caged in the next week or two, thank god I had beer and loud music to help in the heat today i'll take some pics later before it hits body work tommorow

cold beer and good tunes can make any job bearable :) i rekon a mock up race car would be fun as hell to own and race. might have to look at the lx 4 door next door abit harder and see what really wrong with it.

Welded in steel 6 point with double cross on loop and rear supports with removable intrusion bars on the front. CAMS approved.
And to all the guys picking on NOS...leve him alane..I had my body done by someone else, he has to catch up...
Plan is the get the cage in mine this coming weekend...then over to NOS' to store until he has the same then we will spray both at the same time so they will wheel out in the flesh together.
R

P.S...As an aside...things must be hotting up in the muscle car area...I have a guy chasing me and offering silly money for the HDT XU1 V8....Guess those $35k LC GTRs are having an effect!
