I'll bring the basic regs on Thursday night unless I see you before
It tells you what you can and can't
If you run slicks you run in over 2L outright basically
DOT tyres puts you in over 4L street as long as your car complies with other rules too (Re interior etc)

Alex Dave and I plan to run in over 4L street when we get going
But the cars will need to be checked for complaince... Alex might have to run outright due to his cage and interior specs.

If its registered does that not get it in?

Anything can have a set of plates on it
Thats doesn't make it registered
Its still got to be scrutineered and classed

Over here..if it is registered with the mod plate it will clear with the cage etc..still need to do std scrut of course.

Lucky we don't need your silly blue plates here

The theory is so all cars are "equal" as far as the amount of material removed
A car with a stripped out interior is less streetable than a car with a full interior
But the rear seat can be removed if the cage design warrents it

Damien just rang actually...nearly finished..running the rear support bars down through the seat to the rear suspension pickups to strengthen the body as a package. Probably done by next weekend...I will have pics.

The Loop is having plates welded to it and will bolt on where the seat belt bolts on the upright pillar near your shoulder for more rigidity. I like it! :clap:

More than happy...Will scoop it up..then off to NOS' place..I have sent him off to price the paint for both cars..I will drop my compressor and spray gun and attachments and hoses off for him...we will work out how I can get down to help him spray it.
