Yep looked at the original HDT's and they painted the piping, we thought it would look odd having red and white paint with a black line going through it, and I had already given the flares a coat of paint off the car too, there was already some paint on the piping and it was bloody hard to scrape it off so the white should be ok on there

Well things have changed again...by this time tommorow I will know if I will be at Speed on Tweed with Rory, only on display not racing, seems that something has turned up that will put my project about 3months ahead of where it is now, but without me having to do alot of work-it'll almost halve my work required....stay tuned :spoton:

I'm 2 months behind.

Does anyone want to see how my project is coming along?

Well time to spill the beans. Found another car! LX L32
Its already painted white, flared, body all done, rust.....battery tray only!! It would have to be the best shell ive ever had!
Comes with reco front end, nolathane throughout etc, worked V8, roller rockers, modified cam, elect dizzy etc etc, turbo supra 5spd.
So repair the battery tray, paint the engine bay black, swap my black interior in, rollcage, paint the HDT black and Red, put my diff in,wheels and i'm ready for a display at least for Speed On Tweed, but I also have a few 308's floating around too, so I MIGHT even be racing! Buying this car has put me infront by about 2-3months seeing that I only have to mask it up and paint!.....very bloody happy!!! :spoton:  :D I'll still be building the big HP 308/355 And yes I got the car cheap!
