Its about here I pay homage to MR NOS..He wanted a prefect paint job...I told him...several times..Its a bloody race car..there are some imperfections but I am more than happy with the end result..it is...after all...a race car..Having seen shit loads up close over 30 years..this thing is concourse compared to them...I still have a huge present for him for painting it..but need my tax cheque first!! ..Next we do his...then we have some fun things to do..He might even move out to the bush with us..or near us...(there goes the neighbourhood!)..I personally think it is a great idea for his kids to grow up in a regional environment..not in the city..He needs to come up for a weekend and see what its all about ..then he will be stuffed....! the kids can ride the horse..play with the steer that thinks its a horse..(dont ask!)..the huskie can take them for a drag around the paddock..and after all that..his missus will say...what are we doing here? (I am working on him!) The pic of the side of the L34 with hotwires in situ shows a pretty good shot of part of out 6 acres..there is a dam down the bottom on the left.

Cleaned all the side windows, fitted the door locks and trims and internal handles, cut out the welded in side intrusion bars. Ordered different Castrol and TAA stickers as I wasnt happy with them.

Need to thank Alex (big-als-army) for the idea of lifting the body off and dropping it on the new front end. My father in law..(30 years MACK Trucks Service manager, didnt believe it would work...then conceded we saved 4 hours !!..Was very impressed! :spoton: ) Only thing is line up and start the top 4 bolts first then do the lower outriggers last..other than that..it was a cinche! (spelling) The diff will be a breeze tomorrow.
