Wait it's getting a fuel cell but you're still running a tank? Are you putting the cell into the tank somehow? Or keeping it to look correct to the original (although i would have expected they'd have droptanks).

i scratched my head at that one to heath. im guessing the origional fuel tank will be for street duties seeing though you have to fill up from the outside, the fuel cell will be for track use. could be wrong though.

and all the origional photo's i've seen of that era there havnt been drop tanks.

Will check the ducts in a minute..Watto...was flat for 3 days...
The tank is to keep the std look..I was thinking of having a "T" connection to switch it from on to the other but decided to just use the cell. The car without the std tank looks weird so decidied to leave iit there..The cell bolts into the boot on the floor.

Scored some Volvo 4 spot Girlings pretty cheap ....Spoke to 82911 about them..even though I have the whole HQ caliper thing done with Bendix pads I might have a play while I am bored and waiting for the engine to be built. Will keep you posted.

Cut the back seat in around the rollcage and fitted the base as well to give it the standard look, finished the UC central handbrake off with the Nissan B/W diff. Might do a tech article on that for the guys that have asked. Lowered the drivers seat frame as it was sitting too high, bolted in the oil catch tank and spoiler air scoops, tied in the rollcage rubber. Tomorrow I will polish the Hotwire road wheels and fit them and drop it back on the ground. I need a Pirtek guy to hook up the fuel cell and run a 1/2 " line to the front..Can see me doing it myself at the moment.

SOME PICS FOR YOU RORY. Don't know if these are any help for you or not

They look like 4" outer rims on the front NOS, which I am guessing gives a 5" inner...interesting.

I'd say they're 5inch outers on those fronts, they look the same outer as my rear 15x10's

So if Anna is running 15 x 10, thats 5" inners...I want to run 9" on the front so that might be OK..All I need to work out is if a 5" inner works on the front. RED!!!!??

my fronts are 9-1/4" or 9" but they are 14's.

i had a 'quick' go with the tape and they look to be no more than 4-1/2" on the inside.

Now I think I am pretty set. B45s like Annas car on the front 15 x 9.
Challenger 15 x 10 on the rear..
Plus a set of 15 x 8 Challengers as wets.
The front B45s are commodore with a 5" inner..I need to have them redrilled to HQ ($40 a wheel) and fit 4" outers and all is done on the wheel front. I also have been told that the rims are the same inner and outer except one has a hole in it for the valve..Thats interesting..

There is a crowd that redrills Commodore..120mm out with a 15mm drill...then fits steel inserts for HQ pattern...120.6mm....you can do it with Ford simmons as well evidently..Not a well know practice...race guys do it all the time so I am told.

After being screwed around by Performance Wheels for nearly 3 months..the local Bob Jane manager /and me decided to tell them to stick their Challengers up their arse..we have had for the last 4 weeks....Mate! they are in the paint shop!..leaving this thursday..you will see them Tuesday!...NOT!
NOS and I have decided we are doing the simmons B45 look a like style wheels back there...^^^

He has some rims...I bought some fronts and will get another set and we will mix and match to make our sets. Pics coming as they arrive.
