How to lose a whole day on the race car??..Put in one rubber engine mount upside...then nothing works I found...change said engine mount around..engine jumps into place..

Thanks Glac...

I say everytime thats the last one...then away I go again...The hard bit is always fitting the engine and box...2.5 days of blood sweat and tears...then a BBQ and a few drinks and I am all enthusiastic again to fit stuff off tomorrow...the hard bits are all done now...

Cross member bolted right up..all the angles look good...can order the tailshaft now...Hurst Comp Plus shifter is in...still deciding on the gearlever...welder in this week to finish the panhard rod setup, patch the floor...and do the tow hooks...Good days work! :clap: Beer o'clock!!

Some nice progress there R even thou some hours wasted with fitting parts wrong way around. I'm sure it's happened to most of us but it's always funny when it happens to some one else.
Did you need to cut that much out of the tunnel to fit the top loader or was it just an easier way to work on things?

It made it easier but I actually just went on what Rockets car had done to it. If you have to weld it back, might as well make it bigger.

looking good R, did getting the engine mount the right way up make a difference to extractor clearence on the drivers side?

I think getting both right actually did it as it then sat square.
I am getting those other A9X stubs and will set up the Nissan 4 spots up on the bench with lines etc so I can just swap them out in 2 hours thanks to Rocket and MRNOS. :clap:

Penrite additive in 90/140, all the welded bits will be done this week.

The floor is all done...so are the tow hooks and the panhard rod. WooHoo! :clap:

one question rorym how did u attach your foot petals as i have a set similar but not to sure how to put them on did u just drill into the metal plate and use the screws?

Poke your head under a Commodore if you get the chance. I see that mount tearing off the chassis rail as is.
