I knocked the corner off the rocker cover...miles away from the roller rocker and now gives me 1/2" clearence for the hydrualic clutch setup. Will get that welded up tomorrow.

I am at that stage I love...the garge is clean...I put back the tools I use...unlike the shitfight of everything being on the floor and all over the place...It is near the end...bit sad actually...Missus says I need to do an open wheeler next with a 1300cc Kawasaki motor to get it out of my system....she may be right. :huh:

All but done by the auto elec..just the 3 gauges and fuel pump to go...all very neat and nice..Excellent job..thermo fan is on a temp switch..prefer it that way.

ahh ok, I tink mine is on at 87 deg, off at 82 deg. prob a tad cold

Have a look at the FSAE competition the university students compete in for some motorcycle engined open wheelers.

They have a 600cc limit breathing through a 32mm restrictor with motec engine management and are pretty nifty.

One seppo team used the barrels and heads off 2x250cc 4cyl engines to make a 554cc V8 which sounded pretty hot.

LOKKA DIFF IS IN, AXLES AND ROTORS NEARLY FINISHED...CLUTCH DONE..BIT HEAVY BUT WORKS...
Oops!
4 spots are in place with braided lines...all done just need another bleed.

Auto elec still needs to finish this week.

I just went and had a look at when all this started...30 SEP 06.
I bet you didnt think it would take this long??
Once you get it done..there is testing and fine tuning yet...
But good to see that you are now close. :D

Haha...Yeah I didnt haVE MY FATHER IN LAW TO HELP LIKE WITH THE YELLOW CAR...i HAVE HAD TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF...HE WAS COOL...MECHINCAL ENGINEER ..RETIRED...i USED TO COME HOME..THE GEARBOX AND CLUTCH ARE IN...NEXT DAY...DIFF IS IN...ETC ETC
