Fitted the K&N and it just touches the underside of the bonnet with the 1" spacer back in.....will live with it for the moment.

We have been flooded here and the mud all over the car was from when I got it off the truck after the exhaust shop...nearly bogged it out the front...will wait until the sun comes out then give it a good wash and polish. Want to change the steering rack boots..perished...fit new colletts to the linkages on the Hurst shifter..screw in 2 braces to hold the lower front parts of the flares out so the front tyres dont touch them then time it properly..after that...I need to scuff in the slicks..thats going to be fun in the neighbourhood considering ALL the HWP and CIB cops live around me on acreage! :huh:

(and we still got robbed last week!!) :cry:

Hope you cut those lengths out of the middle of the hose not either end. It wouldn't be a true aussie garden hose if it didn't have at least 4 joiners in it. :spoton:

Just make sure u don't use those $2 shop connectors, they dont hold.

Hah!..Its actually not garden hose..its 18mm air con connection..just same colour...its only there to move the car..never fear guys...all will be right on the night. :spoton:
