Phoofters pulled me over in the SS on friday as they were having a bet that it was the US model...of course one of them lost..then they bagged me just to make it look like they were working..at 4pm!!..we had a laugh and they buggered off.

All done...timing was only about 30 degrees out..no wonder it was blowing black smoke... :huh:

Panhard rod support bar next week then it needs some driving!! :spoton:

Borrowed the engine builder digital timing light..It was spot on..32 degrees at 3000rpm.
Sound and feels SO crisp now! :spoton:

It's on Channel 7 local news tonight at 6pm if anyone is local.

Weekend..Gets rego on Thursday! WooHoo!!! I can actually legally drive it on the road...well...sort of...as long as they turn a blind eye to the megaphone hanging out the side..love living in the bush!!

Took it for a run today...still hot or the gauge is wrong..thermo out again!!
Carby has shit in it jamming the front bowl open full and over flowing it..will fix that tomorrow.
Backlash on Lokka diff makes some strange noises/clunks...hope thats all it is..
Minor things..just the final sorting out....shit it goes...and its LOUD inside...need to check the DB with a gauge. Bedding brakes..are a bit spongy...need another bleed, all pads seem to be biting in OK on flat surfaces.

Definately invest in some good earplugs, when you hit the track and the engine is at full noise it can do damage... Trust me your ears will thank you

Yeah...some 1/2" reo bent and welded on..as good as any. Has 2 on the cross member to tie it down and one at the rear as well.
