Went around and around our patch today bedding the brakes in...Shit it stops!!..10 times better than the yellow car..
From 2nd to 3rd under power I can't work out if it's wheel spinning or the clutch is slipping. The soft tyres dont make any noise and there is definately no clutch smell so I am guessing it is wheel spinning....might drive back up there and have a look.Temp sits on 205/208, oil pressure 52.

Forgot to mention... the diff whines like a banshee...only in 4th gear on power...pretty sure its the diff...might be toploader 4th gear but definately seems to be coming from the rear.

Got a breakdown /miss at about 5500rpm going into 3rd gear.

NOS and others have had a few problems with the MSD rev limiter plugs and thats basically the only thing I changed by putting in the 6400rpm one.
I will slip the 7000rpm one back in and see if that cures it.

Hmmm...After all that work getting the Simmons to look the part...due to the Nissan calipers I now need 24mm spacers to clear the front rims/nuts of them!!..NOS has 2 spacer built in Simmons rims I might try but I am not keen on running that size spacer on mine so it might be back to the original plan and run 15 x 10 Challengers like all the rest of the Group C guys. Possible set of HQ pattern 15 x 9 and 10 B45 Simmons for sale.

Sorted..The B45s need a 19mm spacer...I can get them made locally pretty quickly...also noticed I drill the caliper bracket out a fraction on the left making the caliper sit slightly higher making it hit the wheel nuts on the inside. Need to quickly cut out and make another one before the race.
