Well Rory got bored with the LC-how I'm not sure, so he decided to build another Colin Bond driven car. As for me, up until speed on tweed a few months back, i'd only known Rory through the forums and a couple of calls about some parts. Anyway i'd NEVER been to a circuit/sprint race event..ever so after chatting to Rory on the forums I decided to go and catch up with him at speed on tweed, well after seeing the cars and watching the racing I was hooked-my engine builder says "I told you so, I knew you'd see the light better than that straight line stuff". Anyway Rory was talking about the new car and I thought I want a piece of this type of motorsport, thats pretty much how it began, I wasnt sure what car to do, after seeing pics of what Rory was doing I thought why not i'll do the sister car to his, 2 replicas side by side in the pits at speed on tweed next year, that was/is the plan. All this was decided over that 1 weekend. For me it was a case of I had to many cars in the build and a lack of time, so everything was sold off-well almost everything, and the replica build was on, it'll cost me less to build this car compared to the show/drag car I had planned, i'll still go back to a straight line car but later after the replica is done. Thats about it...

Mine should be around the 420-430 with early cast iron heads, although ive spotted some VERY special heads at the right price that I'm thinking of buying, which should give me a "little bit " more

You know there were some seriously awesome sounding VN heads with rollers that were for sale like a week ago on these forums. Did you guys see them? I can't remember who was selling them though lol.

Sounds good MRNOS
