Hi bullitljv8.

That looks outstanding especially in Inca Gold. The car is a credit to you.

I don't think it matters for the Nationals type judging, but I noticed several small items that are different to stock.

The small section of the front guard, under the 'eyebrow' moulds (next to the headlight rims) should be black. So should the spare tyre 'hump' at the bottom of the RH rear quarter panel.

The thermostat housing (where the top radiator hose connects) should be engine colour.

One final one that I think looks wrong, but several factory shots from 1968 show the exhaust manifolds also painted engine colour, but your's look better.

My 2c anyway, but I'm not knocking your car, great work.

Dr Terry.

dr terry your right since these shots i have painted the bits around the eyebrow moulds but havnt done the spare wheel section yet and the thermo housing all of the monaros i have seen original and restored are silver i may be wrong but not sure as for exhaust manifoulds they were cast iron or rocket red depending on what plant it came from so the monaro club here in s.a tell me
